Hi, I’m Kurchi, founder of Pawsitive Moments, a Houston wedding pet attendant service helping couples include their dogs in their wedding day. I’m a lifelong dog lover with a passion for making sure pets are part of life’s most special moments, especially weddings. I started Pawsitive Moments because I know firsthand how meaningful it is to have your best friend by your side, and how stressful it can be to figure out the logistics of making that happen.
Pawsitive Moments started with a problem I knew personally: how do you include your dog in your wedding without making your family and friends responsible for them all day?
When my husband and I were planning our own wedding in 2020, we wanted our dogs to be part of the celebration, but figuring out the logistics was harder than we expected. Boarding felt impersonal, asking friends and family to be responsible for our pups wasn’t ideal, and bringing them to the wedding ourselves meant we wouldn’t actually be able to focus on getting married (especially if there was a rogue squirrel or some tasty food).
I started helping friends bring their dogs to their weddings, handling everything from walks and transportation to photos and aisle appearances. I quickly realized how much couples needed this kind of support, and Pawsitive Moments was born.
Through my involvement in Houston’s animal welfare community, I’ve personally cared for more than 70 dogs with a wide range of ages, temperaments, personalities, and needs. That experience taught me to read dog body language, recognize when a pup is overwhelmed, and adjust our approach when a wedding environment becomes too much.
Our mission is simple: to provide your pets with exceptional care and make them an integral part of your celebration, like they’re our own. We are dedicated to making your wedding day not just memorable but pawsitively perfect for you and your furry best friend!

We understand that a wedding day has a timeline, vendors, photography windows, ceremony cues, venue rules and a lot of moving pieces. Our job is to fit seamlessly into that environment while keeping your pet’s safety and comfort at the center of everything we do.
